Congrats to ali for coming in second place on fear factor! Here is ali's account on what happened before and after fear factor.
Before Fear Factor:
Alison Sweeney just completed a celebrity edition of "Fear Factor." Ali, always the coy one, had this to say: "I filmed a celebrity episode of Fear Factor last week. Of course, I'm not going to give away any secrets, but I did take a few snap shots backstage... the other contestants were Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Richardson (Backstreet Boys), Alan Thicke, Ali Landry & our own Kelly Packard! I will tell you that it was by far the most outrageous and thrilling thing I've ever done!!! I had such a great time, and I can't wait for you all to see it so that I can fill you in on the gritty details! Our edition of Fear Factor will air Monday, Mar. 11th at 8pm!!!"

After Fear Factor: March 12, 2002: Okay, so Fear Factor was incredible! I'm so glad that I can finally tell you all about it! It's been so hard keeping it bottled up inside me. Everyone was really fun to hang out with. I will tell you that to this day, Stephen Baldwin still owes me $100! Whatever!
The first stunt was so difficult. The height thing was not easy to deal with, but once I was all hooked up, I just tried to focus on the challenge. Let me tell you, that was tough. Since Kelly and I are short, we were definitely at a disadvantage on that stunt. As you could see, I was on my tippy-toes the whole time. It felt cool to fall, I wasn't really scared because I was so confident about the safety measures.
That second stunt - those cockroaches, man... that was gross. I wasn't acting, or getting carried away. I freaked out!I knew that the creepy-crawly things would be the toughest for me, but I had decided that I would really push myself and 'just do it'! Stephen was cracking me up. He kept saying I was "wacked". I think he's crazy. That guy is just outrageous. Joe Rogan was really cool. I loved his attitude, and watching the show now, I still can't believe he ate that cockroach... I have to say, I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't offered me the '3 worm' deal.
Last but not least the fatal final stunt. I still wish more than anything I could go back and do that again. I know I could shave off those 5 seconds!!! It burns to know how close I came. But I'm proud of myself for making it through the whole thing. It was such a fun experience. I loved every minute of it. And, yes, I'd do it again if I could!!!!! |
