How do you define love?

"I think 'love' means many different things. Above all, love is about believing in each other and knowing that no matter what happens - in sickness and in health, etc. - you and your partner are meant to be together."

What was your best Valentine's Day?

"My first Valentine's Day with [husband] Dave was special. He went out of his way to arrange a romantic evening at a beautiful restaurant in downtown L.A., and then we went to a musical. He arranged for us to stay at a nice hotel. I was so touched because he had found out about things I liked and had planned it out knowing how much I would enjoy the show."

What's the most romantic thing Dave has ever done for you?

"Well, I would say the night he proposed was pretty romantic! We went to Catalina, a small island off L.A., for a weekend getaway. He made it seem casual and no big deal, so I assumed nothing would happen. He asked if I wanted to take a walk along the boardwalk, and we walked and talked about nothing for a while. Then, we got to this secluded spot, and he knelt in the sand and proposed. I was so shocked! It was a very romantic weekend."

What's the most romantic thing you've done for Dave?

"Sometimes, keeping things simple is really romantic. Following that philosophy, I like to surprise Dave with candlelit dinners at home. I cook a meal I know he loves and set the table nicely."

What are you doing this Valentine's Day?

"With our hectic schedules, sometimes Dave and I arrange our own 'Valentine's Day' on whatever night around the 14th that we can be together. We always try to find funny and sweet cards for each other, and little personal gifts. The best part is that we set aside that night to enjoy ourselves!"
