Soaps Most Beautiful Women
Alison Sweeney, DAYS
What beauty product can't you live without?
"Lip balm. I have the most chapped lips of anyone I know. I have one in the kitchen, one next to my bed, one in the car, one on the sink. There's a brand called Rachel Perry that we use on-set. They're grape, orange and raspberry-flavored, so you wind up with a fruit salad on your lips."
When do you feel most beautiful?
"Dave [my husband] likes me the best when I'm natural. I feel the most like myself and most comfortable when I have no makeup on and I'm wearing capris and a T-shirt. But when I get my makeup and hair done for an awards show or work, I feel sexy. I walk different, I feel different, like a movie star. It's not the real Ali."
Do you have any beauty tips?
"I tell everyone to take their makeup off every day. I like a foamy cleanser that doesn't make you cry. I use Laura Mercier makeup remover; M.A.C. also has a good one. And you need a separtate remover for your eyes."
Weird tips?
"If you're really tired, you can put wet tea bags on your eyes for 15 minutes, keep your eyes closed and relaxed and for two hours afterward, it really does reduce the bags under your eyes."
Unusual compliment?
"Dave loves my teeth. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I never had braces and he loves them. He also really likes my nose. I think a nose is a nose, but he likes it."
What would you change about yourself?
"I would want to be able to eat whatever I want and have Britney Spear's body without exercising. I also wouldn't mind being about two inches taller."
What beauty trend do you say no to?
"I've seen in magazines that people are putting foundaiton on their eyebrows and then penciling in the eyebrows they want instead of plucking. It didn't look good and I would never do that." |
