Bachelorette visits Days - but joins another soap.

The day before she picked her dream man on national TV, The Bachelorette's Trista Rehn checked out the men of Days.

Rehn visited the show's NBC studios Feb. 18 while taping an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, which films on the same studio lot. Alison Sweeney (Sami) arranged the visit. "Alison and Trista have the same jeweler," explains a Days spokesperson. "That's how the connection was made. Trista is a big Days fan."

Apparently, "She kept walking around saying, 'I can't believe I'm here!'" recounts Melissa REeves (Jennifer). "It was so funny," adds Kirsten Storms (Belle). "Trista was up on set, and everytime someone came over to her she was like, 'Oh, my God! Hope! Oh, my God! Belle!'"

"She didn't ask us a lot of questions," adds Reeves. "We were actually badgering her more. The tables were turned. I told her, 'If you want to meet me, you have to tell me who you picked.' Trista said, 'I can't!' Of course, I was just kidding."

But don't expect to see Rehn on Days anytime soon. Instead, the ubiquitous cutie will appear on another soap, as herself, in late March.
