I just bought the XBOX Kinect and the BL workout game. I also have dance central witch keeps you moving too.
I alternate between Jillian Michael's The 30 day shred, Hot Yoga and 6 week six pack. All so intense, there's no need for a gym membership. I also love that you can wear whatever you want when doing it in your own home!!
I would highly recommend Insanity Ali! :) It is an awesome workout!
I agree Sarah! I also have a 1 year old- and to go to the gym, and have to pack him up just to go takes alot of time! So, working out at home is definitely a time-saver, but having to do it during his nap is sometimes hard! I've been doing the treadmill and stationary bike, and then every few days doing the Jillian Michaels, banish fat, boost metabolism dvd! AAAAH!
I agree with Holly. Insanity is a, well, insane workout. But, the other day I tried Turbo Fire and I loved it. It's shorter than Insanity, (this one was only about 30 minutes) but just as much workout! I did it over lunch with my coworkers and of course we had to envoke the "cone of no judgement" while doing it since NONE of us could keep up with the crazy choreography. The music choices, the Save by the Bell-esque set, and the amount of time you spend laughing is well worth it.
I like the Nike Training Club app for the iphone or ipod touch. There are probably 75 different workouts. I just dock my ipod into my ihome and do what it says. If I don't understand a move, there is a video of every move. BTW the app is free. IDK if it is available in the droid market or not.
I have all of Bob's Dvd's and rotate between all of them. I also own a ton of other workout DVD's and feel like I'm cheating on Bob if I do a non bob workout!
I just bought the BL workout for Xbox! I love it!
And I actually feel like you're really there motivating me! haha
PX 90 is still a killer!!!!
KettleWorX, twenty minutes three days a week--it really works!
If I can't get to the gym. I either run on the treadmill or Bob or Jillian DVD's. Thanks to the Biggest Loser I have been inspired to get off the couch & get healthy. 52 LBS gone and going. Before I started 8 months ago I couldn't even walk 1/2 mile w/o wanting to die, but now I am running 3 miles and training for a 5K :) During my workouts I can hear Bob, Jillian and now Dolvett in my head pushing me and when I step on the scale for my weekly weigh in...I hear your voice "Your current weight is"...LOL!!
I have a 2 year old
I have a gym memebership now but she changes schools this gym won't be near by and I will need dvd's and walking to keep me going I used to use Leslie Samsone I guess I can go back to that good luck everyone
I do not like beach body I was a beginner and i felt lost with n o explanation on how to try and help me maybe the dvd's have gotten better
The weather here in MN this time of yr is definitely not my friend its been about 15 below and freezing.
So during this time of yr i like to do Billy Blanks, right now i have his boot camp ones and i really like either the cardio boot camp, Ab boot camp or the ultimate boot camp. I also have The Biggest Loser Cardio Max workout and when i do that i really dislike bob. Just this last Christmas i got Zumba. Zumba is so much fun to do especially Zumba Live. When i just want to workout but have fun at the same time Zumba is it. I love it its alot of fun, and a bonus with Zumba is you learn some new dance moves in a way!!
