Filling Foods!

I like an apple with reduced fat string cheese, also hummus with cut up vegetables, and 1/2 of cottage cheese.

Enjoy,

Claudia

I love sweet & spicy almonds from Trader Joes for a snack. I also drink a cup of green tea with breakfast and lunch which actually fills me up and allows me to go longer without feeling like I need to munch.

I'm a big string cheese fan.  Also, I LOVE snow peas.  I eat them plain or on sandwiches in place of lettuce because I can't eat lettuce.

Hot liquids in your belly help you feel full.  Drink teas whenever you can to help feel satisfied without any snacking!

Lately my favorite filling snack  has been an apple cut up, sprinkle cinnamon on top, cut up some walnuts and pop it in the microwave for 45 seconds. I like to eat this around 3:30...it gives me energy and fills me up until dinner!

I'm with claudia dellaripa and FirstOfMay on the reduced fat string cheese, plus

sweet roasted red peppers, packed in water inside glass jars, several excellent brands and many from different countries, added to any meal makes it filling for me, and even more the red peppers are my new healing food, I easily lose cohesion in my blood platelets or any area subject to bleeding when I take aspirin or eat highly acidic foods, so the cheese is often the only food I have which promotes healing, especially in the tendency to get stomach ulcers..the peppers break up the cheese so it does not cause constipation, and the live acidophilus capsules in my refrigerator keep the cheese from promoting fungus infections...

greek yogurt with a sprinkle of ground flax seed..packed with protein and fiber!

anyone have a sub for hummis?i just dont like it,but i do like chick peas

I enjoy snacking on half an avocado when I have the munchies too.

I definitely like making a half cup of Quinoa as a filling snack... I actually read an article the other day that if you make 1/4 cup Quinoa with brocolli and a few other high protein vegetable like beans in a stirfry you can have up to 40 grams of protein in one sitting.. Which while being a healthy snack or meal it tastes good and it can help you before or after lifting weights at the gym!

Apples, Bananas, Blue berries, dried cranberries, Air popped Pop corn. Yoghurt Almonds, cheese and buckwheat crackers.

Boy sounds like this site is going to help me out a lot and I am glad that I joined today! Maria

Fruits and vegetables salad is good for low calorie foods, or soup is another choice for low calorie food
