NBC and Spanish-language network, Telemundo, will parnter to host the first bi-lingual soap opera fan experience - "FAN FESTIVAL 2003" - to be held at the Hollywood and Highland complex in Hollyood, CA. The stars of NBC’s “Days of Our Lives,” “Passions,” and Telemundo’s hottest telenovelas will come together for the event(April 5-6) which will be emceed by Claudia Trejos, host of Telemundo’s “Al Rojo Vivo." Trejos will conduct the question-and-answer programs in both English and Spanish. “Fan Festival 2003” will be co-sponsored on a national basis with Olay Daily Facials and by three Los Angeles-area radio stations – KIIS-FM, KYSR and KBIG-FM. The festival marks the first event joining the stars of NBC and Telemundo since NBC acquired the Spanish-language network in 2002. “Fan Festival 2003” will offer opportunities for interaction between the fans and their favorite stars with presentations in both English and Spanish; providing a unique experience for soap fans from around the country.
